Outstanding in the Field

Yes, we do talk an awful lot about food on this blog. We really can't help it. It's San Francisco after all.

What can I say about Outstanding in the Field? Another dinner extremely well done! We had a blast breaking bread in the warm Napa sun this Saturday. It was a wonderful treat for us to venture out of the city to have a communal meal in St. Helena at the Tres Sabores Winery and Farm tended by our gracious host and winemaker, Julie Johnson. It was such a pleasure listening to her husband, John share stories of the farm and the vines. The menu was delicious, I'm still dreaming of the halibut ratatouille prepared by Josh Thomsen of Meritage at the Claremont in Berkeley.

This season is pretty much sold out, but add yourself to the waiting list. The next season will roll around really quick and it is so worth it!
